Disney Store Finds at Arizona Mills Today

So, while I was shopping for a Halloween costume this morning at Goodwill my hubby called me & asked if I wanted to meet him in the food court at Arizona Mills for lunch. I don't make it into Tempe very often because my vehicle GUZZLES gas but he promised to buy me a fruit smoothie so I headed over to meet him. As we were eating I noticed a woman nearby me had a cute Disney trick or treat bag so when we were done we headed over there to pick up a few for our girls. Last year we used those cheap plastic ones & they ended up tearing by the end of the night so I did not want a repeat of that this year. The Disney store had these sturdy, reusable & cute trick or treat bags that can be used by both boys & girls marked down from $2.50 to only $0.99.


Then as we were checking out I noticed that there were 2 huge displays of Toy Story Jesse lunch boxes. The price tag said $12.50 but since the store was a Disney Outlet store I thought they were probably marked down so I asked how much they were. The cashier told me they were only $1.99!!! They are very cute & would make a great gift or back to school item for your favorite little girl Toy Story fan. I was actually going to get one of these at the Disney Store inside Fiesta Mall for my daughter just before school started but she ended up wanting a different style bag.

I'm sure there were other great deals in the store as well but since hubby was on his lunch break we didn't have time to shop around. This is my favorite store to get our Disney brand toys & clothes for ourselves & gifts because there are such great deals!

Halloween Costume Idea for $8 or less

My mom & I were both struggling with what we were going to dress up as for Halloween this year. My idea was that we could wear scrubs because they wouldn't be too expensive & it's something we haven't done before. So, this morning I headed to Goodwill & picked up one for her & one for me.

Here is a picture of hers:

She is going to be a labor & delivery nurse because this was scrub was like new & really cute.

Here's mine:

I'm going to be a veterinarian because my youngest daughter loves animals & I thought this was a cute print.

The scrubs at Goodwill are normally $4.99 but if I printed out a coupon for 20% off your order of $10 or more (not valid on sale items like dollar day or 50% off tags, also excludes food & new items) HERE so they were only $3.99 each. They also had scrub pants. I didn't think they were necessary but if you wanted to go all out you could match up a scrub top with a pair of scrub pants, use the coupon & get the whole costume for about $8 + tax if you use the 20% off coupon.

Wendy's AZ Blogger Lunch - Yum!

Today I was lucky enough to have the privilege of attending a blogger lunch at Wendy's in Ahwatukee. I took lots of pics & ate great food with great company.

The blogger lunch was held at the Wendy's in Ahwatukee on the north side of Ray Rd. just west of I-10. We got there about 10 minutes early & were pretty much the only customers there so I was able to take some pictures without bothering anyone. When the manager saw me taking photos he introduced himself & was very friendly. He offered to take this pic for me.

I was happy to see there were 2 televisions in the seating area and, thankfully, neither of them were on a sports channel:

The restaurant filled up pretty fast with AZ bloggers, their kids & their guests:

I was happy to finally meet Sheryl of Cents'Able Shoppin' & enjoy a nice lunch with my parents since they both had the day off of work.
