Spa Specials at Dolce Salon & Spa!!!

If you're lucky enough to be able to get to Dolce Salon & Spa 9/7/2010 - 9/9/2010 you'll save 35% off all services.  Plus, if you say the password SHINE you get an additional $9 in "Shine" D$'s that can be used to help pay for your services for the day, or you can save them and use them any other time... or you can use them on product.

Here's the information I found about the Dolce Dollars promotion:
http://www.dolcesalonspa.com/points.html#points

The Dolce Salon & Spa site above will explain how to earn more Dolce Dollars by getting Dolce Dollar Points.  For every 1,000 points you get $1 (IMO it would be easier to say 1 point = $1 but that's just me).  You can earn $ by recommending new clients, pre-booking appointments & writing a review of your visit(s).  Don't forget to join their Facebook or Twitter to get notified of their HookUp specials & passwords, etc. to earn more Dolce Dollars.  Here's their Facebook page:  http://www.facebook.com/DolceSalonSpa

Personal experience:  I went during Spa Week when there was a $50 special & loved the hot stone massage!

Customer reviews:

"I had their signature chocolate pedicure with Laura today...and it was very nice...The salon was big and clean...and the receptionist was friendly along with Laura. While I was there I checked out other services they had to offer......and I plan on going back!

P.S.  Go get that chocolate pedicure.....it was amazing! There was a coffee-chocolate scrub they did on my feet and pampered me with lotions and an awesome foot rub......it was good...and this is coming from a girl who gets very regular pedis!"

"I've had massages at some very very nice salons and resorts, and this one was in the top five. This masseuse was the first one to actually listen to me when I told her not to touch my calves. I was extremely relaxed by the end of my 60 minutes."

It's Picture Time

If your kids went back to school last month, like mine did, it's probably just about time for school pictures.  Our kids are getting theirs taken this week so we have to decide which package to buy.  Hubby & I are considering buying less of the school pictures & go get a family portrait taken.

I looked up a few different portrait studio coupons & thought I'd share:

Olan Mills located inside K Mart on Power near the US 60:  http://www.olanmills.com/coupons/default.asp

Target Portrait Studio located in Gilbert on Warner:  http://targetportraits.com/content/coupons/coupons-print.htm

Sears Portrait Studio located inside Superstition Springs Mall, Fiesta Mall & Chandler Fashion Center Mall:  http://www.searsportrait.com/cpi/en-US/offers/main/

JC Penney Portrait Studio located inside Superstition Springs Mall:  http://www.jcpportraits.com/content/coupons/coupons-print.htm

I also posted the question "If YOU were getting a family portrait taken next week where would you go?" to a few money saving pages on Facebook to see if there are any other deals or great portrait studios that I haven't heard of.  So once I get answers I will edit this or comment on it.

I hope you enjoy finding out about all the different ways you can stretch your paycheck.

Blockbuster Kiosk Rental Code

Facebook special:
Today through Monday Blockbuster Express is celebrating Labor Day with a rent two, get one free promo code!
Use the code "LDAY2" to get caught up on your movie watching over the holiday weekend. Code expires 9/6/10 at midnight.  You must have 3 DVDs in cart before entering code for the 3rd movie to be free.
If you've never rented from a Blockbuster Express kiosk before here's some information about them:
Each DVD is $1 per day (some machines may have Blu Rays for an additional charge) & are due back by 9pm on the night after you rent them to avoid getting charged an additional $1.  Even if you use a promo code for a free rental you still have to swipe your credit or debit card in case you keep the movie longer than one day.  You can find out which kiosk has the movie you want by checking on-line here:  http://www.blockbusterexpress.com/
In my area they are only at Circle K & Bashas stores.  Most of these machines are located outside the store.  Sometimes there is a line at the kiosk so give yourself a little bit of extra time if you're trying to return a movie before your 9pm deadline.
I hope you enjoy finding out about all the different ways you can stretch your paycheck.

Jump & Shout Play Center Specials

Facebook Special:

Labor Day Special 1/2 off admission Monday September 6 when you tell them you heard about this on Facebook.
If you haven't been to Jump & Shout before and have kids 8 or younger you should give it a try.  We had my youngest child's birthday party there for about $10 per child & everyone had fun.  They also have the option of letting you add a cake to the package so you don't have to worry about ordering it from a bakery or making one then having to transport it to the party.
For those of you with toddlers you'll be happy to know that there is a special play area just for them so there's less worry about them being trampled by older kids.  They also have chairs set up in the play area for parents to sit.  Lastly, they have a cafe where food & drink is available for purchase.
If you'd like to visit Jump & Shout Play Center but can't make it on Labor Day you can use this coupon for 50% off the admission price of up to 4 children:
